🇨🇦 Health Canada reviewed a donor death without reading its own inspectors
A plasma donor died, and Health Canada now admits its review did not even consult the inspectors’ report produced after the incident. That is not oversight. That is Ottawa checkbox theatre with a lab coat on. The bureaucracy that micromanages speech, food labels, and every other corner of life somehow forgot to read the field work before declaring itself satisfied, as reported.
This is the Trudeau-era state in miniature: sprawling, sanctimonious, and allergic to accountability. Endless process, no competence. Canadians are told to trust experts, trust agencies, trust the public-health priesthood, and then we find out the paper-pushers at the top did not bother consulting the people who actually investigated the death. A sovereign country worthy of the name would demand hard accountability from regulators entrusted with life-and-death decisions, not another internal shrug wrapped in bureaucratese. Ottawa’s managerial class wants obedience without scrutiny, authority without responsibility, and public confidence it has done absolutely nothing to earn.
