🇨🇦 Ottawa suddenly discovers the economy
After years of Trudeau-Guilbeault sabotage, the climate priesthood now wants applause for admitting jobs, investment and affordability exist. In Calgary, Julie Dabrusin stood beside Alberta’s Grant Hunter and pretended economic growth and environmental policy can magically go hand in hand, as reported. Translation: the same class that strangled pipelines, scared off capital and hiked energy costs is now rebranding the damage as pragmatism.
The punchline is Dabrusin still parrots net zero by 2050 while backing industrial carbon taxes and taxpayer-soaked carbon capture schemes. So the Liberal formula remains intact: hobble Canadian energy, subsidize politically approved workarounds, then call it competitiveness. Hunter says Canada is ready to build again. Fine. Then scrap the ideological handcuffs, kill the punitive carbon regime, and stop treating our resource sector like a guilty secret. A sovereign country with oil, gas and collapsing productivity does not need globalist climate cosplay. It needs permission to act like a serious nation again.
