It is that Jewish families are now discussing whether to leave Canada, something Finkelstein says would have been unthinkable five years ago. That is the Trudeau-era civic collapse in one sentence. Mark Carney can announce bills and frameworks until the cameras go home, but if the state cannot protect citizens from open intimidation, then all the diversity sermons and DEI catechisms were a fraud from the start. A sovereign country that cannot guarantee basic public order is not compassionate. It is unserious.
