🇨🇦 Ottawa finally admits growth means emissions
The funniest part is not the pipeline fight. It is Mark Carney admitting Canada will increase emissions for years while the climate priesthood still expects the country to kneecap its own economy on command. Two new lines are now on the table: more than one million barrels a day to B.C.’s South Coast and 500,000 barrels to southwestern Ontario, as reported. Suddenly energy security and national unity matter again, after a decade of Trudeau-era sabotage dressed up as virtue.
The real scam is that Canada is told to stay poor, landlocked and dependent while global demand keeps rising and foreign producers laugh all the way to the bank. The same activist class that cheered carbon taxes, regulations and anti-pipeline lawfare now clutches pearls because adults noticed a sovereign country should move its own resources across its own territory. If Ottawa is serious, build the infrastructure, stop subsidizing climate NGOs, and quit pretending deindustrialization is moral leadership.
