🇨🇦 Ottawa still calls this compassion

Canada cannot house its own citizens, our asylum system is already clogged, and the response from the advocacy class is to cheer that more Haitian claimants are on the way. That is the absurdity laid out in plain sight in this report. No talk of capacity, cost, border integrity, or what this does to wages, housing, schools, and social cohesion. Just the usual moral blackmail dressed up as policy.

This is the Trudeau-era formula in one sentence: import instability, then lecture taxpayers about empathy when the bill arrives. Haiti is in crisis, yes. That does not mean Canada is obligated to become the world’s overflow shelter while our own people get priced out and pushed aside. An asylum system is supposed to protect a nation and process genuine claims, not function as a permanent intake valve for every global failure. Sovereignty means deciding who comes here, in what numbers, and whether this country can absorb them without becoming unrecognizable.
