After an identity crisis, the B.C. Conservatives now have Kerry-Lynne Findlay promising unity and brand repair, as reported. Translation: the establishment is desperate to sand down anything that looks like actual opposition. In Canada, conservative parties are allowed to exist only if they behave like slightly annoyed managers of the same liberal decline.

B.C. is drowning in housing insanity, drug chaos, public disorder, and the social fallout of elite policy lunacy, yet the priority is image control. Of course it is. The system fears a conservative movement with teeth far more than it fears failed governance. So out comes the usual script about unity, moderation, and fixing the brand, because heaven forbid a party speak plainly about sovereignty, mass immigration pressure, cultural fracture, or the bureaucratic religion of DEI. If Findlay is serious, she will stop managing optics and start naming the regime that made this mess. If not, this is just another carefully supervised opposition product for a collapsing province.
