π¨π¦ Carney's $3.8 Billion Land Lockup Is a UN Land Grab With Canadian Branding
Mark Carney just committed $3.8 billion to lock up 30 per cent of Canada's landmass by 2030 β not because Canadian voters asked for it, but because the UN's Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework told him to. Canada signed onto this framework in 2022 along with 195 other countries. The Trump administration exited in early 2025. Draw your own conclusions about who this serves.
Alberta has already pushed back, correctly pointing out that land use is constitutionally provincial jurisdiction. Survival International β hardly a right-wing outfit β called this UN initiative the biggest land grab in history. The last round of global biodiversity targets set in 2010 missed every single one of 20 goals by 2020. Not one. So the targets are unenforceable, the definitions of protected land are deliberately vague, and billions of Canadian dollars are being committed to a globalist framework that failed on its own terms. Carney is not protecting biodiversity. He is outsourcing sovereignty to Geneva and calling it environmentalism.
