Why Did BTC Hit SL Today? ๐
Todayโs BTC trade is a good example of why EMA confirmation is important โ but risk management matters just as much.
BTC was clearly trading below the major EMA zones, confirming a bearish structure. The short entry was aligned with the trend, and BTC then made a strong move to the downside.
However, after the sharp drop, price made a short-term pullback before continuing lower. That retracement was enough to trigger our SL.
๐ The setup wasnโt necessarily wrong โ the market simply made a normal pullback before continuing the trend.
The key lesson: donโt fight the trend, but also donโt place your SL too tight. Always give the trade enough room to breathe.
