Governments around the world hold an estimated 646,000 BTC—about 3% of Bitcoin’s total supply. The US tops the list with 328,000 BTC (around $27 billion), followed by China with 190,000 BTC (about $16 billion) and the UK with 61,000 BTC (roughly $5 billion).
