🌟 The illusion of zero risk, or what's scariest about inflation

In 2022, inflation in the Eurozone hit a record 10.6%. As of July 2026, it's still running at 2.9% — well above the ECB's 2% target.

Sharp spikes in inflation are easy to feel in your wallet. But what happens when the erosion is slower, more gradual? The risk becomes invisible. Your capital looks safe on the screen, but its purchasing power is shrinking.

🌟 The clearest example is when you keep money in a regular bank account. Your balance might grow over time, but in real terms, it's losing its value. Compare what €10,000 could buy a couple of years ago versus today — it buys noticeably less.
