Sitting position adapted for shoulder surgery, often called the lawn or beach chair position. The arms must be supported to prevent stretching of the brachial plexus without pressure on the ulnar area of the elbow. As with all head-up positions, blood pressure should be regulated with the height of the brain in mind.
