🐾 Meet Leopardus tilcayo, a newly identified wild cat from Bolivia’s cloud forests.

Smaller than a house cat, it belongs to a lineage that diverged about 1.4 million years ago. Locals have known it for generations; scientists only just confirmed it as a distinct species.
