On September 17th at George Washington University, Coalition for Civil Freedoms co-founder Steve Downs took the stage to laugh about his "dark vision of resistance."

Downs helped build an organization founded out of the prison notes of convicted Palestinian Islamic Jihad financier Sami Al-Arian to dismantle American counterterrorism laws. Now, he is standing inside a university campus in our nations’ Capital  “joking” with students about his "dark" plans to resist our justice system.

There is nothing funny about gutting the laws that keep Islamic terrorists behind bars. Steve Downs isn't defending civil rights. He is waging LAWFARE against the United States National Security Apparatus.

Again, why hasn’t GWU had their federal funding revoked yet for hosting this pro-Islamic terror conference?

This is outrageous! The Department of Education needs to get it together.
