۷۰ روز است که جمهوری اسلامی با قطع سراسری اینترنت، میلیون‌ها انسان را عملاً گروگان گرفته است.
این یک اختلال اینترنتی نیست؛ حمله‌ای مستقیم به زندگی مردم است. کسب‌وکارها نابود شده‌اند، معیشت خانواده‌ها آسیب دیده و ارتباط مردم با جهان قطع شده است.

در سایه همین خاموشی، بازداشت، سرکوب و اعدام معترضان ادامه دارد؛ بی‌آنکه صدای قربانیان شنیده شود.
اما بخش بزرگی از جامعه جهانی همچنان ترجیح می‌دهد چشمش را بر این فجایع ببندد؛ چون واکنش نشان دادن هزینه دارد و سکوت، ساده‌تر است.

For 70 days, the Islamic Republic has effectively taken millions of people hostage through a nationwide internet shutdown.
This is not an internet disruption; it is a direct attack on people’s lives. Businesses have been destroyed, families’ livelihoods have been damaged, and people’s connection to the world has been cut off.

Under the cover of this blackout, arrests, repression, and executions of protesters continue while the voices of the victims go unheard.
Yet much of the international community still chooses to look away from this tragedy, because taking a stand comes with a cost — and silence is easier.
