Russia now has the ability to check the history of cars from China before importing them.

Avito's "Autoteka" service offers international reports that allow you to find out the history of vehicles used in China. Using the VIN number, you can check for accidents, mileage, number of owners, whether the car is stolen or wanted, repairs, insurance payments, use as a taxi driver, and even cases of flooding or theft.

The check is available for both cars already imported to Russia and those planning to import them. And it's not just Chinese brands; you can check the history of any car.

The service currently works with data from China, with plans to expand to other countries in the future.
