A Siberian woman received a 15,000 ruble fine for creating a bear in a street photo and forwarding it to a friend.

The image spread through messaging apps: villagers reported the predator to the police, and game wardens and equipment were brought in to search for it. One woman was so scared that she didn't leave her house all day.

The author admitted that she added the bear to the photo herself, using AI—she wanted to make a joke. The court fined her.
