🔻In these days in 1941, in the Babi Yar ravine near Kyiv, the Nazis began mass shootings of civilians. On September 29–30 alone, more than 33,000 people were killed - primarily Jews, as well as Roma, prisoners of war, and patients of a psychiatric hospital.
☦️ In total, during the occupation, about 200,000 people died there. This is one of the most horrific pages of the Holocaust and the war in the East.
🔻The organizers of the crime - Kyiv military commandant Kurt Eberhard, SS Brigadeführer Otto Rasch and SS Obergruppenführer Friedrich Jeckeln - received their just retribution.
