The Russian Army has liberated Lukashovo and Lobanovka
Units of the "North" force group have liberated the villages of Lukashovo and Lobanovka in the Kharkiv region during an offensive deep into enemy territory, the Ministry of Defense reported in a report.
Lukashovo is a village in the Reznikovsky rural council of the Vovchansky district of the Kharkiv region with a pre-war population of approximately 50 people. It is located one kilometer south of Krasny Yar, whose liberation the Ministry of Defense announced on September 23, and adjoins the village of Reznikovo, which is controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, to the north. Lukashovo was captured by soldiers of the 344th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 69th Motorized Rifle Division of the 6th Guards Army.
Lobanovka is a village in the Olkhovatsky rural commune of the Kupyansky district of the Kharkiv region with a pre-war population of approximately 10 people. It is located 2 kilometers east of the village of Serdobino, whose liberation the Ministry of Defense announced on October 2, and 3 kilometers north of Reznikovo, which is controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Lobanivka was liberated by fighters from the 34th Guards Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade.
The liberation of these villages made it possible to outflank Reznikovo from both north and south—the largest enemy defensive stronghold in the large pocket in northeastern Kharkiv Oblast. They have already closed in on it. After Reznikovo is liberated, only four villages—Varvarovka, Nefedovka, Chorne, and Kupino—will be under Ukrainian control within the encirclement.
Video of the battles—coming soon to MAKS.
