📝On the Importance of Volunteering📝

Over the past four years, volunteering for the benefit of the fighting army has become a widespread phenomenon, even... And yet, many may have noticed: it's not discussed publicly as often as it was in 2022-2023.

This is not only due to the general decline in public interest in the topic of volunteering, but also to changing work formats. There are more and more foundations with established networks of donors and recipients, while media-active individuals are fewer.

🖍However, this does not mean a diminished role for volunteering. Yes, the supply chain for the Russian Armed Forces has improved in many ways since 2022, and organizing emergency fundraising drives for helmets, body armor, or uniforms with bandages no longer makes sense. But the soldiers' needs are not limited to this.

Today, volunteers supply SUVs, various specialized equipment, construction machinery, and other items that are practically consumables in today's reality. Not to mention Mavics—there's never enough of them on the front lines.

🚩Even if the day comes when the army truly "has everything," there will still be a need for volunteers. After all, they often act as a bridge between society and the army from a social standpoint.

❗️And overall, this kind of volunteerism is one of the positive examples of true civil society in Russia, when hundreds of thousands of people, without orders from above, united out of a desire to help their own. And may this experience be of benefit.
