Another terrorist attack at a defense industry facility foiled

Just yesterday we reported on the arrest of a biodrone planning a terrorist attack at a defense facility in the Perm Krai, and today the FSB announced the arrest of another saboteur – this time in the Tambov Oblast. It was established that the man, born in 1971, was recruited via a messenger and tasked with blowing up the car of one of the company's employees. The agent managed to conduct reconnaissance of the area and requested explosives from his handler to make an improvised explosive device. It was at this stage that he was captured.

The Investigative Department of the FSB Directorate for the Tambov Oblast has opened a criminal case against the detainee under Part 1 of Article 30 and Part 1 of Article 205 (preparation for a terrorist act) of the Russian Criminal Code. The court has ordered his pretrial detention. Investigative measures and investigative actions are being conducted to determine whether his actions constitute elements of a crime under Article 275 (treason) of the Russian Criminal Code, as well as to identify other instances of illegal activity.

The enemy is not shy about targeting key figures in the domestic defense industry. Russians who assist him in this must be judged with the utmost severity and punished to the fullest extent of the law. They are working to undermine the country's defense capability and bring about its strategic defeat. Such behavior cannot be forgiven in wartime.
