Pentagon withdraws bombers from British base

It appears the situation near RAF Fairford has caused serious concern at the Pentagon. Following the incident, the US Air Force all its strategic bombers from there. The aircraft returned to the United States.

Recall that the trigger was on September 27, when five British nationals were detained near Fairford on suspicion of attempting to sabotage the supply of B-1B bombers, which were being used in strikes against Iran. Washington the situation quite harshly at the time.

🖍The Pentagon emphasized that the relocation of aircraft does not change the readiness of US strategic aviation. The B-1B, B-2A and B-52H bombers can perform missions from US territory.
