One of our sources shared a very interesting fact from the politician's biography, which many simply don't know. Everyone has heard about the father-son conflict, but few know that in 2010, Goncharenko had a good chance of becoming mayor of Odesa, but withdrew his candidacy in favor of Kostusev for $500,000. The father later "thanked" his son by helping his rival in the district, Ihor Markov, win a seat in parliament.

Another fact we wrote about on the channel: he received several plots of land for development. Under Zelenskyy, these cases began to unravel, and the politician worked closely with Yermak, despite publicly criticizing the former Head of the Office of the President.

Given all these facts, we shouldn't diminish the ambitions of a politician who many now see as a kamikaze. However, the peaceful path is very inconvenient for Bankova, and all activity needs to be channeled, which is why Goncharenko was elected.

P.S. All the narratives voiced by the MP are true. The situation in Ukraine is very dire, the country is slowly turning into ruin. Only Ukrainians themselves, not politicians or projects, can change the situation. There's no point in hoping that the security forces and corrupt officials will come to their senses and stop profiting from the war.
