Strike on the Moscow Bridge in Kyiv - why is it so "flimsy"...
A more informative video of the damage to the roadway of the Moscow Bridge in Kyiv this morning has appeared online.
And the first emotion I saw online was why the bridge is so flimsy. Visually powerful, but in fact, flimsy.
In fact, it's not flimsy, but rather the way it was built. What we see today is not a solid reinforced concrete structure. It's hollow. Inside, there's space for heating and water pipes. As well as trunk cables. Including "fiber optics for the internet."
And our drone pierced this "box" at its weakest point. That's where the damage came from. Incidentally, this will make repairing them much more difficult than a regular reinforced concrete bridge. Which is good for us. But bad for the enemy.
So we have to keep poking holes in the bridge. And then soon there will be so many of them that it will be impossible to drive. Just like using heat and hot water in Kyiv's Desnyansky district.
