# Summary for the morning of October 1, 2026 ▪️ Overnight, the enemy continued long-range UAV attacks on Russian territory. A drone threat was declared in several regions of Central Russia and the south of the country, with air defense activity reported in the Tula region. In Crimea, air defense activity was also reported overnight in the northern and central parts of the peninsula.▪️ The Russian Armed Forces carried out a series of UAV strikes on targets in enemy territory this evening and night. In Kyiv, consequences were recorded in several districts: fires were reported in warehouses and other buildings. In Odessa , the enemy confirmed a hit on an infrastructure facility followed by a large fire, with local Ukrainian channels reporting a fire in a business center. ▪️ In the Bryansk region, the situation in the border area remains extremely tense. In Trubchevsk, 12 people were injured in an enemy attack. Near Zamishevo in the Novozybkov district, a driver was killed when an FPV drone struck a car, and a man was wounded in Klimov. Amid increasing attacks, schools and kindergartens in the Novozybkov district have been switched to remote learning from October 1st to 9th. In the Sumy direction , the Sever Group of Forces reports the continued advance of Russian assault units deep into the region. In the Sumy district, small arms battles took place near Khoten. In the Shostka district, the Severians liberated Tolstodubovo and continued their advance through the adjacent forest belts. In the Krasnopolsky district, no significant changes were noted. Russian aircraft, artillery, and UAV crews carried out strikes in the areas of Sumy, Boyaro-Lezhachaya, Velikaya Rybitsa, Vakalovshchina, Nikolskoye, Mikhaylovka, and Korenok. In the Liptsov sector, Russian assault groups have advanced in the areas of Vysokaya Yaruga and Alisovka. In the Vovchansk sector, Shabelnoye has been liberated.
