Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed BRICS leaders to India at the BRICS Summit 2026, highlighting India’s people-centric and humanity-first approach to its chairmanship. He said resilience, innovation, cooperation and sustainability were key priorities, with a special focus on connecting BRICS cooperation with the common people. Modi also noted that more than 350 meetings were organised across approximately 30 cities.
