If a person has schizophrenia, will anyone want to communicate with him?

Participants read a post on a social network. In the post, the author indicated that he either suffers from schizophrenia or does not suffer, and either wrote a poem and it was accepted for publication (success), or it was not accepted for publication (failure).

Shown: the average desire to interact with the author of the post was closer to the negative pole. Overall, women showed greater interest in interaction regardless of the study conditions, and especially if the author of the post has schizophrenia and did not achieve creative success. If the author of the post achieved success, then there are no differences between men and women. Greater interest in schizophrenia and creative failure was among people who have friends with mental disorders.
