🇪🇺 A hypocritical Europe—which, through politicians like Kallas and the media, harshly condemned the "diesel pact" between Russia and the United States—has purchased large quantities of Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG), as it cannot do without it.

According to Western data, since 2022, EU countries have purchased LNG from Russia worth €46 billion. In the first nine months of 2026, EU countries bought record quantities of LNG from Russia: 12.8 million tonnes valued at €7.88 billion. This amounts to an average of 44,000 tonnes per day and represents a 9.5% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

Overall, between 2022 and 2026, the EU purchased energy from Russia worth €238 billion.
