Dozens of people have been placed under quarantine in Siberia following a leak from a laboratory where the plague is studied.
Russia's federal health watchdog, Rospotrebnadzor, stated that two cases of COVID and two rhinovirus infections were detected among the contacts of a laboratory worker who died in the Irkutsk region from a suspected case of the plague, according to TASS.
