PEMRA Instructs TV Channels to Restrict Coverage of Terrorist Incidents

The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has instructed all Pakistani TV channels to not broadcast any coverage of militant incidents or attacks.

According to the directive, relating to terrorist incidents, TV channels are instructed to only broadcast information on militant incidents that have been "verified and warranted" by concerned departments and agencies.
