Strict action if mosque complex is not moved voluntarily: Muslims will have to pay for bulldozer costs!
The administration has set a seven-day deadline to vacate a mosque and shop complex in Sitapur district. According to documents, the Nagar Panchayat in the area has been recognizing these structures for a long time, even collecting taxes and giving formal permission for repairs and renovations. The question arises, how can the administration suddenly declare these ancient structures as illegal occupation after a long period of government recognition and collecting taxes? Maulana Ali claims that the land is registered as a waqf property. But the state government has denied this claim and said that it is a government property. Such incidents have been happening since the law was made in India against donating waqf property to Muslims, and the Indian government is claiming that these properties are government property.
