Давайте пройдемся по истории этого праздника. Друг наш по переписке скорее всего не спросит в письме, но пусть будет.
World Teachers’ Day is celebrated every year on October 5.
UNESCO established the
the holiday in 1994 to highlight the important role of teachers and recognize their work.
The holiday is not a federal public holiday.
The main idea of the holiday is to sincerely thank teachers for their demanding work.
Students often congratulate their teachers with flowers, cards, and small gifts. Schools may hold special assemblies, concerts, performances, and award ceremonies to recognize teachers for their work. In some schools, students organize a “self-government day,” when older pupils lead lessons or take on teachers’ roles for a day. The celebrations are a way to show appreciation for teachers and the important part they play in students’ lives.
Поблагодарить 🕊️❤️
