KubeCon has a 9-10% talk acceptance rate. What does it take to build that schedule?

Abby Bangser, one of this year's KubeCon co-chairs, shares what she learned from the process. The hardest part isn't finding good content — it's choosing between hundreds of strong submissions. And feedback is always split: too much AI, not enough AI; too niche, too broad. The goal is to hit the middle and cover what the community needs to see.

Building a conference schedule is like building a platform — you can't please everyone, but you can design for the broadest impact.
