تَوانا بُوَد هَر که دانا بُوَد
زِ دانش دِل پیر، بُرنا بُوَد
به دانش فَزای و به یزدان گَرای
که او باد، جان تو را رَهنمای
بیاموز و بِشنو زِ هَر دانشی
بیابی زِ هَر دانشی، رامشی
میاسای از آموختن، یک زمان
زِ دانش مَیَفکَن، دِل اَندر گَمان
چه ناخوش بُوَد، دوستی با کَسی
که بَهره ندارد زِ دانش، بَسی
که بیکاری او زِ بی‌دانشی است
به بی‌دانشان بَر، بِبایَد گِریست
تَن مُرده ، چون مَردِ بی‌دانش است
که نادان به هَر جای، بی‌رامِش است.
