The Kremlin has rejected Volodymyr Zelensky’s proposal for a 60-day ceasefire to allow Ukraine to hold presidential elections.

Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow wanted “not a ceasefire, but lasting peace” and was prepared to do everything possible to achieve it.
