Uzbekistan targets 46.1 GW of power generation capacity by 2030

Uzbekistan plans to build 16 new substations and nearly 5,000 km of power transmission lines by 2030 as the country prepares for a sharp increase in electricity demand, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was told during a presentation on the development of the power sector.
