Karakalpakstan taps Italian technology for European farm exports

Tomatoes and grain will be grown on 2,000 hectares in Karakalpakstan using Italian technology under a $50 million initiative with Italy’s Bonifiche Ferraresi. The produce will be processed and exported to European markets, the presidential press service said on September 19.
