As part of our continued international growth, we are looking for an experienced Operations & Compliance Specialist to support and manage our employment operations in Russia.

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing local employment operations and supporting compliance with Russian labor, payroll, tax, and employment requirements.
You will work closely with international teams as well as local accountants, legal advisors, banks, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth and compliant employment operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage employee onboarding, employment documentation, payroll inputs, leave, benefits, and offboarding processes.
Support compliance with Russian labor, payroll, tax, and employment regulations.
Coordinate with local accountants, legal advisors, banks, and relevant government authorities.
Review payroll calculations and support accurate and timely payroll processes.
Prepare monthly employee cost and operational reports.
Support international clients and employees with employment and operational matters.
Maintain accurate employment-related documentation and records.
Develop and improve standardized EOR processes, templates, and compliance controls.
Identify operational and compliance risks and support appropriate solutions.

Requirements
5+ years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll, Employment Administration, EOR, PEO, or related areas.
Strong knowledge of Russian labor regulations and payroll processes.
Hands-on experience with employee onboarding, employment documentation, payroll processes, and offboarding.
Experience working with local employment, payroll, tax, and government systems.
Fluent Russian is required for managing local employment documentation, authorities, and operational processes.
Working proficiency in English or Turkish for communication with international teams.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple operational processes.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of local operations.
Comfortable working in an international and fast-growing environment.

Nice to Have
Previous experience within an EOR, PEO, staffing, HR outsourcing, or international employment organization.
Experience supporting international clients and/or globally distributed teams.
Experience establishing or scaling local employment and compliance processes.
