What is Kozel Zine?

KZ is my (t.me/kozeluwu) personal project that serves as a medium for publishing my photographs in form of small publications (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zine)

Each publication usually contains about 8 photographs including the cover.
I do my best to tell a story and lay my pictures in a way that creates continuation. I try to blend the text into the photograph and I keep the lenght to the minimum, only giving the necessary context.

On this channel you'll find all zines as .pdf files, avilable for you to download and read yourself!

You can also find my zines in a printed form on various conventions in poland that I attend. If you see one, feel free to take it home, Kozel Zine will always be free of charge.

My motivation for releasing my photographs in this format is the monotonny of social media. Every video, every picture you see is just a viewable file on some app or website.
In this world of instant worldwide access to information we lost something that used to be a magnificent tool for expression - unique presentation.

I believe that the way you publish your music, hang your picture on the display or present a movie is as important as the artpiece itself.

Therefore I decided that simply throwing my photographs out to the sea of social media does not satisfy me. I wanted a space to place my photos together, to be able to show them to other people, to be able to choose a material and format and for others to have something they can actually touch.
