EUROPE IS BUILDING A NETWORK IT DOESN'T WANT TO LOSE.
IRIS² is not simply another satellite internet project.
It is the European Union's secure multi-orbit communications system.
348 SATELLITES.
330 IN HIGHER LEO.
18 IN MEO.
Built to support:
GOVERNMENTS.
DEFENCE.
EMERGENCY SERVICES.
CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE.
And commercial connectivity.
The first launch phase is now scheduled for 2029. The EU says the system is designed to strengthen secure communications and reduce dependence on non-European infrastructure.
But the satellite count is not the real story.
The real story is the layer underneath everything else.
COMMUNICATIONS.
Because control of territory means less if the systems carrying your most sensitive traffic depend on somebody else's infrastructure.

Borders protect territory.
Networks protect capability.
And increasingly…
SOVEREIGNTY HAS AN ORBIT.
WE SEE WHAT THEY MISS.
