🇷🇺🇮🇩 Bahasa Rusia Resmi Masuk Kurikulum SMA Taruna Nusantara! 📚

Pada 6 Oktober 2026, delegasi Russian House in Indonesia mengunjungi SMA Taruna Nusantara @sma.tarunanusantara yang kini menjalankan program percontohan pembelajaran bahasa Rusia.

Sebanyak 51 siswa kelas X dan XI telah mulai mengikuti program ini, dengan target penguasaan bahasa Rusia secara bertahap dari tingkat A1 hingga B1 saat menyelesaikan pendidikan di kelas XII. Tak hanya mengenal bahasa dan budaya Rusia, para siswa juga mendapatkan bekal untuk membuka peluang melanjutkan pendidikan, termasuk di universitas-universitas Rusia. 🎓

Sebagai bentuk dukungan, Russian House in Indonesia menyerahkan 258 set buku pelajaran dan materi pembelajaran bahasa Rusia kepada pihak sekolah, yang diperoleh berkat dukungan Dewan Publik Rossotrudnichestvo.

🗓️ On October 8, 2026, Ambassador of Russia to Indonesia, Sergei Tolchenov, met with Henock Puraro, a member of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI) representing Papua Province, to discuss issues of interregional cooperation between Russia and Indonesia.

🤝 The meeting focused on prospects for strengthening ties between Russian regions and Papua Province, as well as exploring opportunities to develop mutually beneficial regional economic, social and cultural projects.

🇷🇺 Sergei Tolchenov reaffirmed the importance of interregional cooperation in enhancing Russian-Indonesian strategic partnership.

✍️ Article by Ambassador of Russia to Indonesia Sergei Tolchenov titled «Food and Energy Security Under Threat: The Impact of Ukraine and the West on Developing Countries» published in Kumparan (07.10.2026)

Key points:

• Since mid-2026, Ukrainian attacks on civilian Russian and foreign vessels carrying food, fertilizers and energy resources in the Azov and Black Seas have reportedly increased significantly, posing risks to established international trade and shipping routes.

• Attempts to disrupt economic ties with Russia, particularly in the fields of hydrocarbons and agricultural products, could have serious consequences for global food markets. Russia accounts for around 23% of global wheat exports, while Ukraine’s share stands at approximately 7% and continues to decline.

• Western restrictions and measures aimed at limiting Russia’s access to international markets are negatively affecting global agricultural and energy supplies and reflect a broader attempt to reshape international economic relations to the advantage of Western countries.

• Food, fertilizers and energy resources supplied by Russia remain important for the socio-economic development and food and energy security of countries across Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.

• Restoring stability in the Azov, Black and Caspian Seas requires an end to attacks on civilian vessels and interference with established international trade and shipping routes. Russia, for its part, continues to work with interested partners to ensure the safe and reliable operation of international energy and logistics infrastructure.

🗓️ On October 7, 2026, Ambassador of Russia to Indonesia, Sergei Tolchenov, met with the Rector of Gadjah Mada University (Yogyakarta), Ova Emilia, to discuss the prospects for Russian-Indonesian cooperation in the field of higher education. The meeting was attended by Nikita Shilikov, the representative of the Russian House in Jakarta.

🏫 Ova Emilia expressed her interest in developing direct links with Russian universities, including through student exchange programmes. In addition, the rector told about plans to introduce Russian language studies into Gadjah Mada’s educational programmes.

🇷🇺 Sergei Tolchenov extended his appreciation for his counterpart’s willingness to promote inter-university ties between Russia and Indonesia, and outlined possible ways of strengthening cooperation with Russian academia.

🗓️ On October 7, 2026, as part of his visit to Yogyakarta, the Ambassador of Russia to Indonesia, Sergei Tolchenov, visited the museum of the artist Affandi Kusuma, holding meetings with his daughter, Kartika Affandi, and the director of the museum, Novida Abbas.

🖼️ During the conversation, Sergei Tolchenov extended his high appreciation of Affandi Kusuma’s artwork and expressed his hope for the development of Russian-Indonesian cultural cooperation, particularly through the exchange of fine art exhibitions.

🎨 In turn, Kartika Affandi told about efforts to ensure the preservation of the exhibits and shared her plans to visit Russia to create new works.

💡 Affandi Kusuma (1907–1990) is a renowned Javanese artist and a leading figure of Indonesian Expressionism.

🤝 Over the years, President Vladimir Putin has made a significant contribution to strengthening Russia’s position in the international arena, advancing the country’s national interests and promoting constructive dialogue with partners across the world.

🇷🇺🇮🇩 Russian Language Introduced at Taruna Nusantara School in Indonesia

🗓️ On October 6, 2026, representatives of the Russian House in Jakarta visited Taruna Nusantara School in Magelang, where a pilot programme for teaching Russian has been launched.

📚 Russian has been introduced into the curriculum for Grade 10 and 11 students. 51 students are currently participating in the programme, which will continue through Grade 12, with proficiency levels progressing from A1 to B1.

🤝 This initiative aims to promote Russian language education and further strengthen educational and cultural ties between Russia and Indonesia.

➡️ The programme is expected to be expanded, with other Indonesian educational institutions joining the initiative.

We are sincerely pleased to welcome you to Moscow on the first official visit to Russia by a Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste in the history of our diplomatic relations.

This is undoubtedly a historic moment.

Today, we will have an opportunity to review the full scope of our relations, both bilateral cooperation and engagement on international issues, in the spirit of the fundamental agreements reached by President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Timor-Leste Kay Rala Xanana Gusmao on the sidelines of the anniversary Russia-ASEAN Summit in Kazan this June.

☝️ We remember the early days of Timor-Leste’s statehood. Russia played an active role, primarily through the UN, in providing humanitarian and other assistance to your citizens. In the early 2000s, we deployed Russian police officers to the UN Mission of Support in East Timor. This was another contribution we made to building your country’s statehood.

We have a number of initial ideas on how to implement the fundamental agreements on developing our relations, and I hope we will discuss these in detail today.
