📰 Today the official TON account on X published an official post about the rename of the native token from Toncoin (TON) to Gram (GRAM).

❓ The FAQ section answered a question many were asking: do trading pairs need to be recreated, and what happens to historical price data?
The answer is no, nothing gets reset.

🔨 Existing trading pairs are simply renamed (e.g. TON/USDT → GRAM/USDT). Order books, trade history, and price data all stay continuous. No new chart, no reset.

So my earlier take on a "fresh chart with zero history" was wrong? ❌

⏳ How it rolls out:
• June 15, 2026, 12:00 UTC — official switchover.
• For 3 months after the deadline, exchanges will display the asset as "Gram (prev. Toncoin)" to minimise user confusion.
• After the 3-month transition window, the legacy name is removed and only GRAM stays. 💎

No swap, no migration, no claim. Anything telling you otherwise is a scam.
Same asset. Same ledger. Just a new name (the original one from the TON White Paper).💪
