Hi everyone, it's Daniil, CEO of JVault
Yesterday, due to a bug in the deployment of the $JVT staking smart contract back in February, Private Sale investors were able to withdraw tokens not belonging to them from the $JVT staking pool.
Before our team discovered the problem and suspended the staking pool, some users managed to exploit the vulnerability. Thus, UQ…i4x_, UQ...TkGH and some other wallets withdrew about 100k $JVT and sold them.
Also, a bug was discovered in the locker. An incorrect smart contract address was written to the database, causing users to send tokens to an irrelevant contract. This resulted in a perpetual asset lockout for 2 users who we have already contacted to provide compensation.
We have seen the project develop unstably in recent months. At this time we are trying to contain the liquidity outflow due to the general market situation. We are also working to ensure that the lack of Open League boost will have as little impact on the project and investors' assets as possible.
The next post will tell you about our plans for the project development.
