We broke up because I had a terrible temper. I got mad over little things, snapped at you when I was frustrated, and said things I knew would hurt you. I’d take my anger out on you and then act like you were the one making things difficult. You never knew which version of me you were going to get, and I kept expecting you to just understand. I told myself you’d get used to it, until you finally got tired of being the person I took my anger out on. ︎
