Today, I join my fellow Marines and Americans all over the world in taking time to remember and pay tribute to our brave service members who were held as prisoners of war, and to the more than 80,000 who are still missing in action.

The heart of America beats only because of the blood shed by our great warfighters. It is important that every American, and all future generations, understands what today stands for and what it represents.
