This was supposed to be a post about the new Kit 2.4.2, but we’re not gonna make it tonight. So here’s a meme instead 😸

🇺🇦 Поки команда IT ARMY Kit потіє над 2.4.2, ФСБ схоже, вже делегують частину роботи Claude.

Midnight Blizzard використовувала Claude на різних етапах атак: від пошуку цілей до аналізу й виведення даних.

Тож якщо Anthropic раптом захоче розблокувати один цивільний, неурядовий і невійськовий акаунт для команди Kit, ми не образимось 🙂

Бо трохи тривожно дивитися, як AI стає стандартним інструментом у кібератаках, поки доступ до нього для нормальних людей усе ще залежить від географії.

🇬🇧 While the IT ARMY Kit team is sweating over 2.4.2, FSB seems to be delegating part of the job to Claude.

Midnight Blizzard reportedly used Claude across multiple stages of attacks, from target discovery to analysis and data exfiltration.

So if Anthropic ever feels like unlocking one civilian, non-government, non-military account for the Kit team, we won’t complain 🙂

A little unsettling to watch AI become standard cyberattack tooling while access for normal users still depends on geography.

🇺🇦 Російські розробники втрачають ще одну частину глобального IT: сховища компонентів.

Docker Hub недоступний з російських IP, Maven Central урізав ліміти, а Nexus і JFrog для РФ закриті. У великих командах ліміт може скінчитись за кілька годин, а відсутній пакет уже затримує реліз.

Відповідь: будувати свої копії. У першій половині 2026 року кількість проєктів на SourceCraft зросла у 20 разів.

Імпортозаміщення дійшло до npm-пакета. Навіть залежності тепер краще мати свої.

🇬🇧 Russian developers are losing another part of global IT: repositories.

Docker Hub is unavailable from Russian IPs, Maven Central cut limits, while Nexus and JFrog are closed to Russia. Large teams can burn through quotas in hours, and a missing package can delay a release.

The answer: build own local copies. H1 2026, projects on SourceCraft grew 20-fold.

Import substitution has reached the npm package. Even dependencies now go domestic.

За даними РБК, з 4 вересня в РФ перестав працювати Cursor це ШІ-помічник для написання коду.

У MWS AI заспокоюють: програмісти продовжать користуватися Claude Code і Codex. Є нюанс: РФ немає у списках підтримуваних країн ні Anthropic, ні OpenAI.

Технологічний суверенітет це коли головне, щоб сервіс не здогадався, звідки ти.

According to RBC, Cursor, an AI coding assistant, stopped working in Russia on September 4.

MWS AI offers reassurance: developers will keep using Claude Code and Codex. One small detail: neither Anthropic nor OpenAI lists Russia as a supported country.

Technological sovereignty: just make sure the service never figures out where you are.

🇬🇧 Rostec launched a marketplace selling anti-drone protection. Protection for the marketplace itself apparently wasn’t included.

On September 9, the corporation announced products from 180 enterprises and soon reported a cyberattack: the portal had gone offline.

But the press office held the line: “We know we will win.”

When you sell protection but are fighting to reclaim your own homepage, confidence is everything.

Ми оновили двигун до BaseTool 2.0. Після версії 2.3.5 у ньому близько 900 комітів змін.

Найпомітніша новинка, супер-пари. Кіт швидше знаходить робочі зв’язки «проксі + ціль» і спрямовує трафік через найкращі з них. Менше зайвих з’єднань, менше простою, більше корисної роботи.

Оновлення розходитиметься хвилями протягом дня. Нічого не потрібно встановлювати вручну. Просто залиште Кіт увімкненим, і оновлення саме до вас дійде.

🇬🇧 ITArmyKit 2.4 is on its way.

We’ve upgraded the engine to BaseTool 2.0. It includes around 900 commits since version 2.3.5.

The biggest change is super-pairs. The Kit now finds reliable proxy + target connections faster and sends traffic through the best ones. Fewer unnecessary connections, less idle time, and more useful work.

The update will roll out in waves throughout the day. There’s nothing to install manually. Just leave the Kit running, and the update will reach you automatically.

Keep fighting!

🇺🇦 Apple прикрила ще одну лазівку в російському «цифровому суверенітеті».

Росіяни роками повертали видалені з App Store застосунки Сбербанку, Т-Банку, VK та інших санкційних компаній через iMazing, 3uTools та схожі сервіси.

Тепер сервери Apple відповідають 403: старі токени й сертифікати відкликані, а нового обходу поки немає. Вже встановлені застосунки продовжують працювати.

Схоже, санкції нарешті дістались і до кнопки «відновити з резервної копії».

🇬🇧 Apple has closed another loophole in Russia’s “digital sovereignty”.

For years, Russians restored App Store-banned apps from Sberbank, T-Bank, VK and other sanctioned companies via iMazing, 3uTools and similar tools.

Now Apple servers return 403: old tokens and certificates are revoked, with no new workaround yet. Already installed apps still work.

Looks like sanctions finally reached the “restore from backup” button.
