US approves second Neuralink brain implant

The FDA will allow Elon Musk's brain chip company Neuralink to implant its device into a second patient next month. This decision follows Neuralink's proposals to address errors found in their first patient, Noland Arbaugh.

The Wall Street Journal first reported the FDA’s approval on Monday. Earlier, Neuralink disclosed that some electrodes in Arbaugh's implant retracted, reducing its ability to measure brain signals. (RT)
