Trump in 'advanced talks' for Oracle to take over TikTok

26.01.25 The White House has plans for Oracle and other US investors to take a majority stake in TikTok to control the algorithm and data collection in the US.

A second meeting with White House officials scheduled next week.

Donald Trump had lined up a similar deal towards the end of his previous presidency with Oracle when he had threatened the app itself with a ban over security concerns. RT
