📍 Doda, J&K: Amid the controversy over an abaya/burqa incident at GMC Doda, police officer Tariq urged protesting students not to raise religious slogans, saying, “This is a hospital, it’s not just for you, Niether is a islamic hospital so why are you chanting Allah Hu Akbar."
Police said the complaint will be verified and hospital protocol investigated. If wrongdoing is established, action will be taken, including an FIR if required. Students continued their peaceful protest demanding action.
