A controversy erupted at GMC Doda after students alleged that a gynaecology doctor asked a muslim medical student wearing an abaya/burqa to remove it during clinical training.

Students protested turning the incident to a religious orotest with chants of Allah Hu Akbar, questioning the incident and demanding a fair inquiry.

GMC Doda has formed an inquiry committee to investigate the complaint and establish the facts.
