🚨 BIG: ONGC DISCOVERS NATURAL GAS OFF ODISHA COAST

🇮🇳 ONGC has struck natural gas in the Mahanadi Offshore Basin, around 43 km off Konark, Odisha. The discovery was made on September 18 at the MN-DW18-1-H-D deepwater well, where gas has been flowing with encouraging pressure.

The well encountered gas at 1,441–1,452 metres. Reserve estimates and commercial viability are yet to be established through further appraisal.
